Intel teases Letexo/Cove Point Windows 8 Ultrabook Hybrid

Intel is pretty active lately and it’s easy to understand why: Microsoft will launch Windows 8, their first desktop OS to support ARM processors, so Intel has to do something with its x86 architecture, which is more expensive and consumes more power (but it’s also superior in performance).

As specs hinted by Intel I have to mention the 12.5 inch screen, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI out and a price point of only $1000, much cheaper than the Lenovo Yoga, another touchscreen ultrabook concept I like. I just hope it will be powered by the new Ivy Bridge platform, not the crappy Atom CPUs Intel is so proud off.  Author: Ionut Popa (John Pope)
